Privacy Policy

How Curemploy Private Limited collects, uses and protects your personal information.

Last Updated: 14/10/2026Version: 2.0Effective From: 14/10/2026

Curemploy Private Limited ("Curemploy", "we", "us" or "our"), a company incorporated under the Companies Act, 2013, having its registered office at 503, Emerald Prime, Plot No. 12, Sector-18, Taloja, Panvel, Raigad, Maharashtra – 410208, India (CIN: U78100MH2026PTC465646), operates the Curemploy website, mobile application and related healthcare recruitment services (together, the "Platform").

This Privacy Policy explains how Curemploy collects, uses, stores, shares and protects personal data in connection with the Platform. It is published in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025, and, to the extent applicable, the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made thereunder.

Where we rely on your consent, that consent will be obtained through a clear affirmative action for the specific purpose described to you. Certain processing may also be carried out where permitted by applicable law, as explained in Section 5. Simply visiting or browsing the Platform is not treated as consent.

1. Who This Policy Applies To

This Policy applies to three groups of users:

  • Job seekers — pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, pharmacy assistants, medical representatives, lab technicians, medical store staff, and other healthcare or pharmacy-retail candidates who create a profile to find work.
  • Employers — medical shop owners, pharmacy owners, chemists, clinics, distributors, pharmaceutical companies and other healthcare businesses who onboard their establishment and post jobs.
  • Visitors — anyone who browses the Platform without registering.

1.1 Our role

For personal data processed through the Platform for the purposes described in this Policy, Curemploy decides why and how that data is processed and acts as the Data Fiduciary.

When an employer receives candidate information through the Platform, the employer decides how it uses that information in its own recruitment process. For that further use, the employer acts as an independent Data Fiduciary and is itself responsible for complying with applicable data-protection law (see Section 8).

Service providers that process personal data on our behalf, such as hosting or messaging providers, act as our Data Processors and process that data only on our instructions.

  • "Data Principal", "User" or "you" means the individual to whom the personal data relates, including a job seeker, the authorised representative of an employer, or a visitor.

If you withdraw consent for processing that is essential to a service, such as maintaining your account, we may no longer be able to provide that service.

We keep a record of consents given and withdrawn, including the purpose, the version of this Policy that applied, and the date and method of the consent or withdrawal.

7. Resume and Candidate Information

When you create a candidate profile or upload a resume, the following applies:

  • Who can see it. Employers registered on the Platform can find and view candidate profiles through candidate search. When you apply to a job, the employer for that listing can also view the profile and resume you submitted with the application.
  • What they can see. Your name, photograph, mobile number, city and state, education, work experience, years of experience, skills, job preferences and resume, to the extent you have provided them. Details you leave blank are not shown.
  • Downloading. Employers who can view your resume can download or save a copy of it.
  • Contacting you. Employers may contact you through Platform messaging, or using the mobile number shown on your profile or application, only in connection with recruitment.
  • After you delete your account. Your profile is removed from candidate search and is no longer shown to employers on the Platform.
  • Applications already submitted. Information that an employer has already received or downloaded cannot be recalled by Curemploy, because it is held by that employer.

Employers who receive candidate information through the Platform may retain it only for as long as necessary for the recruitment process and their lawful obligations, and must not use it for unrelated purposes.

Curemploy does not guarantee that every employer or job listing is genuine, suitable or verified unless the listing or establishment is specifically marked as verified. Candidates should exercise their own judgement before sharing sensitive documents or attending an interview, and should never pay money to secure a job. No employer on the Platform is permitted to charge a candidate any fee, deposit or payment at any stage.

8. Employer Information and Obligations

Employers are responsible for ensuring that the information they provide in their establishment profile and job listings is accurate, current and lawful. Establishment profiles, including the business name, address, photographs and job listings, are shown publicly on the Platform.

Employers who receive candidate information through the Platform must:

  • Use it only for recruitment and for the role or roles concerned
  • Not sell it, or transfer or disclose it to any third party, except service providers acting for the employer's recruitment
  • Not use it for marketing, advertising or any purpose unrelated to recruitment
  • Not compile it into separate candidate or marketing databases, or use it to profile candidates for unrelated purposes
  • Not use it to discriminate unlawfully against any candidate
  • Keep it secure using reasonable security safeguards
  • Delete it when it is no longer required for recruitment or their legal obligations
  • Comply with applicable data-protection law as an independent Data Fiduciary for their own use of the information

Breach of these obligations may result in removal of listings, suspension or termination of the employer account, and may have consequences under applicable law. These obligations are in addition to those in our Terms of Use.

9. Payments

If you purchase a paid Curemploy service such as a subscription plan, job-posting package or promotional service, payment is processed by an authorised third-party payment service provider (currently Razorpay).

Curemploy does not store complete card numbers, CVV, UPI PIN or net-banking credentials. Payment credentials are processed directly by the payment service provider in accordance with applicable payment-security requirements and its own privacy policy.

Curemploy receives only the transaction-related information necessary to confirm and manage the payment, such as the transaction identifier, order identifier, amount, status and timestamp, and keeps it for invoicing, refunds, dispute handling and tax compliance.
